Ayscoughfee Hall Museum is open from 10.30am to 4pm, Wednesday to Sunday, and Bank Holidays.
Ayscoughfee Gardens are open each day (Monday to Saturday from 8am and Sunday from 10am), and close each day at dusk, and are closed on Christmas Day. Facilities include: Childrens Play area, hard surface tennis courts, a bowling green and putting green. Tickets for these are available from the Pavillion.
Ayscoughfee Cafe is open from 10am to 5pm every day between April and September, and from 10am to 3.30pm every day between October and March.

Spalding Estates Neighbourhood Policing Team.
A burglary occurred at a residential property in Bourne Road, Spalding on 15/02. A door was forced and entry gained and a quantity of electrical items stolen.
If you are away from home, please put valuable items and small electrical items somewhere safe and out of sight.
Crime prevention packs which include a UV pen, property stickers and 'Our property has been marked' window stickers are available from the Police Station.
Incident 329 of 15/02 refers.

       TRAIN DRIVERS WANTED
 
Springfields Horticultural Society wishes to recruit a team of railway enthusiasts to operate both its miniature railway (7¼”) and its garden road train throughout the year. Drivers (male or female) would need to have the following skills and personal attributes:
 
Ability to learn to drive both the miniature train and the road train (small tractor). Full UK driving licence preferred
Extremely friendly personality and comfortable speaking to children and adults
Able to handle cash, give change and control ticket sales
Able to carry out track and pathway inspections and minor train maintenance, including re-fuelling
Able to complete daily/weekly passenger records
Be available to work on a flexible casual spring, summer and autumn rota which would include weekends, school holidays, Bank Holidays and on designated weekdays when the weather is fine
Be willing to obtain a CRB Certificate to allow working with children
Be reliable and be interested in being part of a team operating these popular family attractions in Springfields Festival Gardens 
Successful applicants will be provided with training and a uniform, and any costs related to their CRB check will be reimbursed. Hours of work will be agreed dependant on the applicant’s availability and the weekly rota. Some garden maintenance work could also be available for those interested in more regular part-time work. Hourly rate would be from £7.50 per hour dependant on experience and availability.

DAFFODIL SOCIETY SPRING FLOWER & GARDENING SHOW

The Lincolnshire Daffodil Society, in association with the charity, Springfields Horticultural Society have come together to help celebrate Lincolnshire’s daffodil flower and bulb growing heritage. The Event will include competitions for daffodil enthusiasts, schools and other groups, as well as further classes for digital photo and painting entries in a range of age categories as well as “fun” competitions for pallet gardens, veggie sculptures and veggie mosaics. Other exhibits and displays will include a landscaped show garden entered by the gardening team from Springfields Festival Gardens, and a display of bowls of daffodils from Chelsea gold winners, Walkers Bulbs.

The Event is open from 10.00am to 4.00pm on both days and entry is just £1 for adults (accompanied children under 16 free). Presentation of the competition trophies will be made by Lady Bruce-Gardyne, President of the Lincolnshire Daffodil Society, at 1.30pm on the Saturday.
