Lincs Police Updates
Overnight resurfacing due for April on Spalding's West Elloe Bridge North

Work on the bridge will take place overnight and is set to start on Monday 7 April.

The works will be carried out in conjunction with another resurfacing scheme starting Tuesday 8 April on the A151 at Moulton.

Derek Braddy, Engineer at Lincolnshire County Council, said:“We will be carrying out the work overnight to minimise disruption to the community and road users in the area.

“The new surface should extend the life of the road by several years.”

Academy Award® winner Sam Mendes (James Bond: Skyfall, American Beauty) returns to the National Theatre to direct Simon Russell Beale (Timon of Athens, Collaborators) in the title role of Shakespeare’s tragedy.

A Night at the Musicals: Friday 2 May, 7.30pm
Music from the Musicals will be played by the outstanding musicians of the RAF Swing Wing accompanied by the top big band singer Matthew Ford and a female vocalist. Award-winning vocalist Matthew Ford is widely regarded as the finest big band singer in the UK, broadcasting regularly with the BBC Big Band and the John Wilson Orchestra.
As with previous RAF Band concerts all the proceeds will be donated to the service charity Help for Heroes. To date these Spalding concerts have raised £26,000 and the target for this concert is £4,000.

Bourne Kart Club are looking for a FIELD:
Minimum of 5/6 acres and due to the nature of the sport, it needs to be on hard ground and also in a rural area because of noise.  They are registered with the IOPD (Independent Organisation for Professional Drivers) and have drivers from the age of 8 to 60+.  Racing once a month from April to October, they would be happy to find a field where they can hold just some of their meetings.
World Challenge 2015
Sir John Gleed School student Liwia is joining with other young people to travel to Southern Tanzania for the World Challenge 2015. They will be helping children in Africa, building schools for them and teaching them. Recycling Fundraising

Please keep the newspapers coming in to support St Peter and St Paul’s church.
This recyling effort really does contribute towards the running of the church.  Used postage stamps are collected for the St Barnabas Hospice.

Little Ponton Hall Gardens Nr Grantham -

Little Ponton Hall and its gardens nestles in the curve of the River Witham.
The 18th century house, home to Mrs Rosemary McCorquodale, is surrounded by spacious lawns dominated by a 200 year old cedar tree.
In the walled vegetable garden are the Victorian greenhouses, full of exotic plants, and a listed dovecote.
The gardens are fully accessible to the disabled, being ’wheelchair friendly’. Dogs are welcome on a lead.
This year the gardens are open in aid Macmillan Cancer Support.
